Also you can change files and folders permissions using the command prompt application. You just need some commands to change the files permissions. You can easily get that form the below steps. Just apply the following commands on your command prompt application.
- First open the Start Menu and type the command prompt text on the search box. Now command prompt application appears on your window. Then choose the Run as Administrator option.
- Then apply the following command on your command prompt application. You need to click Enter button on every single command.
takeown /f (Folder Location) /r /d y
icacls (Folder Location) /grant administrators:F /T
- You need to replace the File Location text to which file you want to change ownership permission.
