Nowadays most of the people use google as a search engine. Google is one of the best and most popular search engine on the internet. So many internet users like to use this search engine. In recent surveys, most of the people use google chrome as a default browser. But some of the people didn’t like to see previous searches on address bar while trying to type. Google Settings Method
You can easily disable the previous search showing option on your smartphone. The following method will help you to disable this feature on your smartphone. Just apply the following steps on your smartphone. This method will work on Android and iOS devices. So you can try this method on both devices.
- First launch the Google application on your smartphone and click the Profile icon on the right-side top corner on your Android/iOS smartphone.
- Then find the Search History option in the list. And open that option.
- Now find the Delete option and open that option.
- Next select the Delete All Time option in the list.
- Now check back your search history. I hope this method will work.
Disable Personal Result
If you didn’t want to see the search history, you need to do disable personal result on your Android/iOS smartphone. This method will help to disable this feature on your smartphone. Most of the Android users know this method. If you didn’t know this method, just apply the following steps on your smartphone.
- Open the Google application and click the right side top corner Profile icon on your Android/iOS smartphone.
- Then click the Settings option in the list.
- Now find the Personal Results option in the list. And open that option on your smartphone.
- Now it will open a new window. Next disable the Show Personal Results option on your screen.
- Now check your previous search history on your smartphone.
Search Settings on PC
If you are using a windows system and also want to disable the previous search on the address bar, you can try the following steps on your system. This method will work on every version of the windows system.
- First of all, navigate the Google website. Then select the Settings option in the bottom right side corner.
- Then select the Search Settings option in the list.
- Now change the details for Personal Results and Search History options in the Search Result Page.
- Then select the Save option on bottom of the page.
- Now you are disabled previous search results on your windows system.
